Artist, writer, gif-maker, fangirl. My current obsessions are How to Train Your Dragon, Hijack (Hiccup X Jack Frost), Sterek (from Teen Wolf), Game of Thrones, and Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan). Follow me and/or message me if you want!
How to Find Your Center: [Hijack] Jack is sent to the Isle of Berk in a series of unfortunate events, but in the midst of trying to find his way back to Burgess and his own time, he falls for a certain dragon-training, Viking hero who’s all grown up. As is to be expected, it’s all very confusing for everyone involved.

hello! i absolutely love your blog and your gifs and i was wondering if you could do a tutorial on how you make them? because i've kinda been struggling on making better quality gifs and seriously, your's are just perf.
Thank you so much!
Okay here we go, I’ll try to explain this as easily as I can
So I guess I have this head cannon where Hic was once really into racing, but the more responsibilities and such that stoick would push on him Hic kinda began to lose his interest and I think he at first kinda really beat himself up about cause, ya know he thinks he should love it and love competing with astrid and the others but then he just can't handle the pressure to dance for his dad and play the role of the heir idk I feel like it's great 180 to the first films issues. Had to get that out.
Haha, yes, get it allll out!
My thoughts are actually rather different. I think Hiccup’s genuinely more interested in exploring the world than racing.
Like… I think he loves that Berk has embraced bringing dragons into their world and I think he thinks it’s predictable that the Vikings would of course find some way to make competition blossom. But his love in seeing his two favorite things united is more powerful than his eye rolling. ;)
I also think Hiccup does enjoy the races every now and then, but I don’t think he’s as passionate about it. I think he just likes that he can fit in and excel at “Viking” activities now
But he also has a Night Fury, and my headcanon is that not only was there less of a challenge for him in races… but the races felt a bit confining. He doesn’t want goals and competition limiting him—he wants freedom in every sense of the word. He wants to go out with Toothless into the open air and really push the limits on what they’re capable of together.
Hiccup would much rather be testing out personal flying suits and jumping off his dragon, discovering new lands, exploring what was previously out of reach… all of that is way more tempting than showboating his athletics and that’s just Hiccup. I think he’ll do a race every now and then, but the praise from his father for something he’s not as passionate about isn’t as powerful as the excitement of innovation, even if there’s no one but Toothless to share it with.
with all my heart and soul…
More than words can express
I’m sure everyone following my blog already knows this truth.
How does this not have more notes?
c’mon guys let’s make this post get loads of more notes!!!!
Oh god I loved that clip.
And just think…it didn’t even have the final musical score yet.
This movie is gonna kill meeeee.
Dreamworks does certain things better than Disney
Blue Sky does certain things better than Disney
Laika does certain things better than Disney
Disney is no longer the singular outlet for quality American animated films anymore
Get over it and get used to it
